I gave Oliver a quick haircut on Monday night, the initial reaction from the people was that it was too short. Since then the public opinion poles say he looks very handsome with his new haircut, I tend to agree.Love

Oliver went on a play date at the big school on Saturday afternoon, he had a great time playing with all the great toys and mingling with the big kids.
He drove round the gym...
Built with blocks and played with the sand timer...
Took a little milk break...and fake pizza slice!
Ooops! Time to go home.
Last Saturday we took a family trip up to the MOMA to see the Tim Burton exhibition.
It was a lot of fun, Oliver enjoyed the busy museum and especially the luxury brunch where he made his presence know to all the patrons of the restaurant much to our delight!
The sculpture garden was a big hit but I think Oliver enjoyed the steps and ramps more than the art!
Another beautiful day at the Playa, Oliver would get very excited when he realized where we were going.
Home for lunch and a little siesta...
Back to the playa for some serious fun, I tried Byron's Christmas gift out for the first time. A waterproof camera case which came in really handy...
These are some of my favorite shots from the holiday, I can still see the sun setting now...
Oliver played in the golden sand next to Jeddy, making sure not to get sand on her towel. Then took a mid morning nap, zzzZZZZZZZ!
We headed home for lunch and Oliver took advantage of the cool shade and played in the garden outside. The rain chain was quite a source of entertainment, "oh WOW!"
After lunch we headed back to the beach. We played all afternoon in the water he really loved it. It was the beginning of a wonderful week.
After a long day playing and swimming Oliver got out of his wet swim trunks and relaxed with his crackers watching the sun go down over the Caribbean, "Ah, this is the life..."
Here you can see Oliver helping to rearrange the Christmas tree ornaments..."No, no, no".
Oliver went to Juan Dolio beach to celebrate Margot's Bithday, he discovered plants and shells big waves and factor 30 California Baby lotion...
Christmas Day we all went for a walk in the Colonial city and explored the oldest parts of Santo Domingo. Oliver enjoyed strolling around Plaza De Colon in the afternoon sun and played a little guitar with a local street musician...
Saturday traditionally Boxing Day in the UK, we packed our bags and went on a trip to the center of the island to visit his Abuelo and stay at Tio Luis's house in the mountains. Oliver played with the rabbits, chickens, guinea fowl & geese, although the geese were a little bit grumpy so we did not bother them too much! Manuel, Bethzaira's cousin took me on a wild trek through the woods at the top of the mountain which blew my troubles away and cleared my head of stress and work. He works very hard as a plastic surgeon and we both were very happy with our mini "Man V's Wild" trek.
