I had a fitting on Friday to fine tune my new bike now it runs like magic!

PATIO STAGE III

It's all in the preparation, I had an early start today with the final delivery of sand & gravel. I laid of the edges of the patio with wood paneling recycled from the yard next door after the circuit training gravel and sand session bring it through the building and into the garden!

I'm very pleased with the result and look forward to getting it finally paved tomorrow.

MEMORIAL DAY!

We left our humble abode today and ventured out to Long Beach for some seaside fun!

The weather was amazing apart from the 18 mph sw wind!!! No, it was really nice to get out and see the sea again, although we are both very happy to be home and chilling out for the evening.

I bought a cool tin Pepsi sign yesterday check it out.

I completed the initial concepts for my comic inspired group today ready for review. I have four prints each with a different theme.

LITTLE HELPER

The weather was beautiful yesterday, a complete change from Fridays dismal downpour.
Antonio came over to help me start laying the stones down in the garden.

We took a quick lunch at 2pm and strolled down to Key Foods to pick up some rotisserie chicken and salad, very healthy! The hot weather meant we stuck to the shade, thanks to my little helper we got the corner section completed by 5pm.

Bethzaira and Thingy arrived back from their business trip at 4pm, its good to have them back safe and sound I really missed the both.

STONEHENGE

I had the day off work today to get my stones delivered for the patio. They arrived early at 7am, just as I was finishing preparing the apartment with plastic protective walk ways.

I couldn't believe the size of some of the stones, I had to buy a sledge hammer to break them up from the hardware store that opened at 8am. It was pretty good stress relief smashing these great big slabs on the sidewalk.

Then came the hard part getting them into the back yard. I had one pallet done by 11am and took an early lunch. By 1pm my legs were throbbing from walking up and down the stairs over and over. Thankfully Juan, Liz and Antonio arrived to help finish off the job!

MONSTER WOMEN OF WAR

I had a good day at work today. I got a nice raise at the end of my review which also went well and I gave my comic inspired group a roughing up!

I'm really pleased with the result, especially the hidden breasts of Jane Mansfield in the text "MONSTER"!!!

SILVER FACTORY III

Today I got the latest shipment of my Warhol SF III samples. This will be our last season of dealing with the Warhol license. It's been a privilege to work with his art and the Foundation.

I hope these designs do well my favorite is the Sam the cat stripe duffel.

I received a text message from Bethzaira and Thingy today, he just got a new toy and wanted to show it off!

RED RUM!

My homework this weekend was to paint our kitchen wall red. I got up early on Saturday and prepped all the walls and surfaces with masking tape and got to painting. I applied two coats of primer and three of the red paint so it's super red!!!

Hmmmm this is pretty sweet...

FAT FINGER BENT FRAME...

I had a bit of spill last night, some fix wheel dude made a left hand turn right on the entrance of the bridge as I was overtaking. I hit him head on lucky for me I escaped with only a fat finger and mild grazing to the left knee.

Unfortunately my bike took it head on and my top and down bar is totally bent, it was really sad as I knew the integral structure of my frame had been comprised. Which means it pretty much over for my old Trek, I've had it for nearly 7 years now almost since I've been over here in the US of A.

I dropped by the local bike store on Grand and they have some pretty sweet frames that they make themselves I think but I still need some time to let go of my old Trek though before I invest in a new ride...

I received a wonderful little package from the UK today from Lou, Chris and little Louie. I know Thingy will love them he's been practicing his "kick" flips for the last couple of weeks now!
