SUNNY SUNDAY

Woke up this morning to another sunny Sunday, the weather has been awfully gloomy over the last couple of days. But we used that to our advantage yesterday as we only got up a 12:30pm we must have needed the extra sleep!!!

Today we have rented a zipcar to return a planterbox and get some more gardening supplies. So that will be cool to drive around NY and practice my parallel parking!

Royal PARR

Last week my Dad had a right Royal visitor at the college, he only does guest appearances now he's retired so it was a big occasion for all involved. Byron captured his thought's on the event perfectly!

Matthew flew into town last night for work and some interviews so it will be fun hanging out with him these next couple of days.

Hello Gang!

Sorry again I have been slacking on the old blog. I've been up to my eyeballs in interviews with applicants for the two positions here at LOOP. It's all very hush hush, so I you don't mind I will fill you in good time.

Today I received this amazing photo of my good friend Richard “The Magic” Johnson’s 13 week old bouncing baby boy, congratulations to Magic & Anjali!!! I think I can already see his plumbers mate!

POCKETMAN

Hey Kidz, had a busy Monday with samplescoming in left right and center, these are my first round samples for my POCKETMAN group. I have attached my inspiration page which our sales team use to help them educate our customers about the finer points of each group we design...These little guy's will be made from 100% recycled fabrics.

I'm off to tai chi correctional class for some serious relaxation and chi flow.

DUMBO DINNER

After our maraton walk across the Brooklyn Brdige we navigated our way to the Dumbo General Store Cafe & Bar where the Tivoli store is also situated (www.tivolihome.com) for some light refreshments. I say light as they consisted of tequila shots with a little sangrita chaser, which helped us re-energize and prepare for the delicious Mexican dinner we order from the great little restaurant within the cafe. Live music and great decor made for a memorable evening, these two worn out fellows couldn't help catch my attention. I would to get two just like them for our apartment but have them re-upholstered with a custom print of my own design...

We off for brunch at Juliette a great French restaurant over on the Northside (Williamsburg).

LIGHT THE NIGHT!

After a busy week I'm again catching up on my weeks blogging, so without further delay here we go!

Thursday Night Bethzaira and I supported the Polo team walking for the Light The Night Charity raising money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's nationwide to build awareness of blood cancers and raise funds for cures. (www.lightthenight.org/).

It was fun evening the walk started by South St. Seaport and finished in Brooklyn via the Brooklyn Bridge. We made it in record time beating our personal records crossing the finishline to a trumphant roar!!!
